摘要 PURPOSE:To enhance the stability of the titled gyroscope by miniaturizing the said gyroscope as a whole and generating well-balanced vibration, by constituting the vibration gyroscope used in order to control the direction and posture of a motion body of an H-shaped vibrator formed by adhering a piezoelectric element to respective arms. CONSTITUTION:Arms 11-14 and a connection part 15 are formed using a constant elasticity alloy such as a Ni-SPAN-C alloy to form an H-shaped vibration gyroscope 10. At this time, the cross-sectional shape of each of the arms 11-14 is made rectangular and an aspect ration thereof is changed to slightly differentiate the resonance frequencies in X- and Y- directions and the generation of supurious vibration is preliminarily prevented. PZT or ZnO type piezoelectric elements 20 are respectively adhered to the surfaces of the arms 11-14 but, at this time, when the length of each arm is set la, the width thereof to da, the length of each element 20 to lp and the width thereof to wp, lp la/2 and wp da/3 are formed and a secondary mode causing spurious offset output is suppressed. Thereafter, the gyroscope 10 is supported at the support point S of the connection part 15 positioned at the central part of the arms and an output signal is differentially connected.
