PURPOSE:To readily operate for a collection by providing a releasing member for releasing a holding member from an engaged state against a spring in conjunction with the movement of a carriage to automatically move a ribbon holder to a lower position in conjunction with the movement of the carriage. CONSTITUTION:A ribbon holder 20 is moved to an upper position in conjunction with the operation of a key 18 to be held at the upper position by a holding member 35, a releasing member 39 is operated in conjunction with the movement of a carriage 5 after a collection, the member 35 is bent alterally from the engaged state with a connector 31 against the elastic operation of itself by the operation of the member 39 to be returned to the lower position of the holder 20. Accordingly, a structure is made simple, inexpensive and the operation for the collection can be simplified.
