<p>PURPOSE:To enhance the working efficiency and to make a removable roof panel lightweight, by providing a releasing member at one of leading and trailing edges of the removable roof panel and a striker at the other one of the edges, and by providing a lock mechanism provided with a latch adapted to be meshed with the striker, to a vehicle body so that the lock mechanism may be manipulated simultaneously. CONSTITUTION:A disengageable member 30 is engaged to a vehicle body 10 while the leading edge 22 of a removable roof panel 20 is aligned with an opening in the vehicle body. Then, the trailing edge 23 of the roof panel 20 is set on the upper end of a side pillar 13 of the vehicle body 10, and the striker 24 is allowed to enter into an entrance groove 41a in a base member 41 in a lock mechanism 40. Thereby, the striker 24 enters into, forcing the hook section 42a of a latch member 41 aside. Then the hook section 42a is returned by means of a spring 44 to be meshed with the striker 24, and the locking end 43a of a locking lever 43 locks one end to be locked of the rack member 42. Further, the locking of the striker is released by a manipulating mechanism 60. Thus, it is possible to enhance the working efficiency and to make the roof panel lightweight.</p> |
