摘要 PURPOSE:To eliminate a sliding motion portion and to prevent generation of dust by providing a mechanism for rectilinear motion comprising links of the same length and a speed increasing belt mechanism. CONSTITUTION:A rotary shaft 4 fixed to a link 2 is rotatably retained by a base 1, and a pivot joint 6 is fixed to the other end of the link 2, thereby to rotatably retain a rotary shaft 5 fixed to a link 3 of the same length as the link 2. A belt 12 is stretched between a pulley 1 having a diameter half the diameter of a pulley 10 and the pulley 10. When the rotary shaft 4 retained by the base 1 is rotated for theta, the links 2, 3 are moved by the distance DELTAtheta. On the other hand, the pulley 10 is reliably rotated for -DELTAtheta, and the pulley 11 is fixed to the rotary shaft 5, the rotary shaft 5 is also rotated for -2DELTAtheta, and the link 3 is rotated for -2DELTAtheta. thus, the forward end of the link 3 is moved rectilinearly.
