MANUFACTURE OF OPTICAL FIBER HAVING NON-CIRCLE CORE TRANSVERSE PLANE

摘要

The method allows fabrication of optical fibres with noncircular core cross-section, with CDV technique, thanks to varying-thickness layer deposition along the internal perimeter of each section of the reaction tube wherein the fibre materials are deposited during preform fabrication.
