The panel, for use in walls and ceilings, comprises an outwards-open metal shaped-section frame, with an expanded metal underlay on both external sides and a covering layer on each of these with the edges covered flush by the frame. The frame is in the form of a cap-shaped section (3), single-walled and cold-rolled, with the expanded metal underlays (4) welded so as to fit on its shanks (3b). The cross arm stems (5a) are angled sections set in laterally offset pairs between the underlays, with their shanks directed against a mat of glass wool or mineral wool (7) which runs through between them. |
