PURPOSE:To improve handling performance and facilitate operation and improve safety by monitoring battery voltage and operating starting heater and cooling- warming medium pump. CONSTITUTION:At the time t0, nitrogen discharge valve 15 is opened, and nitrogen flows in the nitrogen system. At the time t1, hydrogen discharge valve 13 and oxygen discharge valve 14 are opened, and nitrogen flows in the hydrogen system, hydrogen chamber 2, the oxygen system, and oxygen chamber 3, and substitution of nitrogen is advanced. At the time t2, the operation of nitrogen-hydrogen selector valve 16 and nitrogen-oxygen selector valve 17 are brought into stop, and then hydrogen and oxygen are supplied to the cell body 1. At the time t3, hydrogen and oxygen are supplied to the cell body 1. At the time t3, hydrogen discharge valve 13 and oxygen discharge valve 14 are brought into stop, and at the same time, electricity is supplied to starting heater 35, and cooling-warming medium which is supplied to cooling-warming medium chamber 32 is heated by cooling-warming medium pump 36. At the time t4 when the temperature of the battery rises up to a prescribed value, the electricity to the starting heater 35 is cut, and at the same time, electricity is supplied to cleaning fan 34 and hydrogen circulation pump 38. |
