PURPOSE:To reduce interference of a rear wheel with a front wheel which takes place at the time of braking by installing brakes on front and rear wheels respectively, and carrying out the antilock control of brakes on the rear wheel side by relaxing the reference value for judging whether a wheel is about to be locked or not. CONSTITUTION:An antilock control device 9 has a front wheel control part 9a which separately controls the modulators Mfl, Mfr for front wheels Wfl, Wfr, and a rear wheel control part 9b which simultaneously controls the modulators Mrl, Mrr for rear wheels Wrl, Wrr. And, signals from detectors 10l, 10r for detecting the wheel speeds of the front wheels are inputted in the front wheel control part 9a, while signals from detectors 11l, 11r for detecting the wheel speeds of the rear wheels are inputted in the rear wheel control part 9b. In the rear wheel control part 9b, a reference value for judging whether a wheel is about to be locked or not, is set more loosely than that in the front wheel control part 9a. |
