PURPOSE:To evade always the rice shortage state by operating a rice shortage transmitter automatically and delivering required quantity of rice based on reception information at the sales shop. CONSTITUTION:A light source 14 and a photodetector 15 are provided oppositely near the bottom of a measuring rice box 11 installed at a user 1 and the light source 14 is lighted at each usage of rice. When the residual quantity of rice reaches a prescribed value, the light from the light source 14 is fed to a buzzer 21 via the detector 15 and an amplifier 18 and an output of a transistor 20 is inputted to an automatic information device 22 as a rice shortage signal at the same time. The device 22 informs the rice shortage information automatically to a rice sales shop 2. A receiver 31 of the shop 2 uses the reception information to identify the user and displays the results on a CRT 33 and a printer 34. A rice sales agency 35 delivers the required quantity of rice to the user 1 based on the displayed information.
