PURPOSE:To hold down oversteer characteristics of a rear wheel drive vehicle by arranging a suspension arm between a subframe and a wheel supporting member and by arranging a strut bar either between a body and the wheel supporting member or between the body and the suspension arm. CONSTITUTION:When lateral forces act on a wheel 70 according to the turn of a vehicle, forces are transmitted via front and rear insulators 22 and 24 of a subrame 12 to a vehicle body so that reaction forces are generated at the insulators 22 and 24. This makes the subframe 12 to be shifted laterally by the amount of deflections of the insulators 22 and 24. However, since the subframe 12 is connected via front and rear links 38 and 40 so that the center of rotation L of the wheel 70 comes in the center between the front and rear insulators 22 and 24, there are no movements in the rotating direction. Accordingly the movement of the wheel 70 in the toe-out direction and resultant oversteer can be held down.
