摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain a solid parts which are connected to an optical communication line and a connector by laminating and sticking minute metallic pieces due to spark on the rear end part of a ferrule and the outside peripheral part of an optical fiber in this part. CONSTITUTION:Minute metallic pieces 3 are laminated and stuck on the rear end part of a ferrule of the connector and the outside peripheral surface in a part brought into contact with said rear end part and in a part near said rear end part. A metallic wire 4 as a material is sparked at a point 41 to crash minute metallic pieces 3 into surfaces of the optical fiber, the ferrule, etc., from an injecting nozzle 6 by a cooling gas 5 of intense pressure, thereby forming a laminated body 3. In this structure, an external force is not applied to only the optical fiber because frequent bending stress of the external force applied to the ferrule 2 acts upon the laminated body 3 similarly. Since individual minute metallic pieces of 5-50 microns size of the solid laminated body are thrusted into the outside peripheral surface of the optical fiber, the laminated body is not peeled and the optical fiber and the laminated body are not moved in independently of each other even if the optical fiber is bent.
