PURPOSE:To improve the stability and durability of an activating wire by providing a half-cylinder part, on the periphery surface of which notches are formed, on a plate-like part, whose the bottom face and the side faces are made flat, so that the two are incorporated in one body of a plastic rope, and then, winding the plastic rope round such that its plate-like part comes in contact with a metal. CONSTITUTION:On the periphery of a metal wire 2, such as steel wire, is wound round spirally a plastic rope 4, such as polyurethane foam rubber rope. Said rope 4 is made up of a plate-like part 7, of which the bottom face 5 and the side faces 6a, 6b are formed in a plane shape, and a half-cylinder part 8, which is provided on the plate-like part 7 so that the two are incorporated in one body, and then, on the periphery surface of the half-cylinder part 8 are made notches 9 at fixed spaces. Hereupon, said rope 4 is wound round so that its bottom face 5 comes in contact with the periphery of the metal wire 2. Thereby, the stability at the time of winding can be improved due to the easiness of winding operation, and moreover, the durability of the device can also be improved owing to the high lubricant-retaining performance of the device.
