Vacuum bag moulding of carbon-fibre-reinforced-plastics, sheet-form, heat-cured articles (41) net-to-size, with formed edges, e.g. buttstrap edges, is accomplished by providing mould periphery elements (20-23) of corresponding moulding edge profile (Figure 3) on the moulding face (11) of moulding tooling (12), with provision for sliding of periphery elements across the moulding face (11) during curing.
