PURPOSE:To completely print by retaining the both ends of a printing sheet by a pair of clips on the surface of a sector-shaped platen to position the platen by a command of a controller, thereby preventing the sheet from displacing. CONSTITUTION:A sector-shaped platen 2 on which a sheet 1 is extended has clippers 4, 5 for retaining a printing sheet 3 at both ends. One clipper 4 is provided on the obliquely cut portion of the platen 2, and the other clipper 5 has an electromagnet 8 for releasing the retention. Thus, the both ends of the printing sheet arranged on the platen is retained by the clippers, and the adjacency of printed characters does not have an error even if the sheet 3 is returned by the controller and repeated to be vertically positioned. When the predetermined printing is finished, one of the retaining clipper 5 is released by operating the electromagnet 8, a winding unit 9 is operated to wind the sheet 3 until a sensor 50 detects a mark, and new printing sheet 3 can be extended on the platen 2. |
