PURPOSE:To improve the AM reception sensitivity of a diversity reception system by coupling all antennas of an AM/FM receiver with the input terminal of an AM receiver in common through choke coils for FM band cutting. CONSTITUTION:Plural antennas ANT1 and ANT2 are arranged where FM-band diversity reception is possible, and either antenna is selected by an antenna switching circuit SW to outputs a signal from an FM receiver RV1. Its switching signal is outputted from the receiver RV1. The antennas ANT1 and ANT2, on the other hand, are connected to an AM receiver RV2 through chock coils L1 and L2 for FM-band cutting. A mixer MIX sends the audio output of the receivers RV1 and RV2 to a common speaker system. The coils L1 and L2 prevents the receiver RV2 from placing a load on the receiver RV1 and separates the antennas from each other during FM reception. Consequently, when the AM/FM receiver employs the diversity reception system so as to improve FM reception performance, the sensitivity of FM reception is improved.
