PURPOSE:To use grease for lubrication for preventing economically a bearing from seizure and a shaft and the bearing from fusion accidents by enclosing the grease in the bearing and providing a water injection nozzle directed to the lower surface of a bearing box to adjust the water injection amount according to the rotational frequency of the bearing. CONSTITUTION:A circular inner ring 1 is fitted onto a shaft 5 and an outer ring 3 is supported by a bearing box 4. Conical rollers 2 are interposed between the rings 1, 3. Cooling water is injected to the lower surface of the bearing box 4. By adjusting the water injection amount according to the rotational frequency of the shaft 5 is cooled effectively the bearing box to prevent the deformation. Thus, lubrication may be carried out with grease. Even if a large thrust force is generated, the seizure of bearing and troubles of fusion of the shaft and bearing can be prevented to reduce cost and improve productivity. |
