NEW MATERIAL:1-Amino-3-imino-4,5,6,7-tetrafluoroisoindolenine shown by the formula. USE:For example, useful as a raw material for dye having high weather resistance and pigment having high weather resistance, as a raw material for plastic and a colorant having high weather resistance and a raw material for heat- sensitive paper having high weather resistance of functional dye for recording material for optical disc, etc. To be concrete, the compound shown by the formula is introduced into fluorinated phthalocyanine and usable. PREPARATION:Tetrafluorophthalimide is reacted with phosphorus chloride in an organic solvent such as monochlorobenzene, etc., at preferably 110-150 deg.C, then phosphorus oxychloride is separated from a prepared reaction solution containing 1,3,3-trichloro-4,5,6,7-tetrafluoroisoindolenine and the resultant substance is reacted with ammonia at preferably 50-100 deg.C to give a compound shown by the formula.
