PURPOSE:To prevent damage of eggs due to impact, by a method wherein projections are filled in the buckets of a rotary drum and an endless conveyor, mounted on the egg receiving and delivery sides, in a manner that a partition member and the bucket rotate in a direction reverse to each other and slip through spaces between the partion members and the buckets. CONSTITUTION:A rotary drum 3 on the egg receiving side is located on the terminal end side of an egg collecting conveyor through an egg support part 4. The rotary drum 3 is rotated around a shaft 31, plural partition members 33 (two in number in a drawing) are protruded toward axially in four-way, and form four egg chambers 34 in association with a side plate 32. A bucket 92, formed with rodform projection 93, is attached to an endless belt 91, forming a sloped conveyor 9, so as to synchronize with the egg chamber 34. The partition members 33 and the rodform projections 93 are rotated in directions A and B in a manner to slip through spaces between the partition members and between the rodform projections. A projection 4' is also protruded from the end part of the egg support member 4 into a space between the partition members 33. A rotary drum having the same structure is also situated on the egg delivery side of the sloped conveyor 9. This causes eggs to be gently rolled, and enables prevention of damage of the eggs due to impact.
