PURPOSE:To obtain excellent transmission and reception antenna performance by inserting a coiled antenna element made of a thin wire which has substantially no resistance into different-diameter tubes between the uppermost and lowermost stages. CONSTITUTION:The different-diameter materials 1, 2, and 3 are extensible like a telescope, both ends of the coiled antenna element 6 are fixed to the uppermost stage tube material 1 and the lowermost stage tube material 3, and the element 6 is provided having substantially no resistance to extending operation. A decorative bead 9 is fitted to the upper end of the tube material 1 and lock parts 2b and 3b which are bent inward are formed at the upper ends of the tube materials 2 and 3; and lock holes 1c and 2c are provided on the lower- end sides of the tube materials 1 and 2 except the lowermost stage tube 3 and a joint piece 4 made of synthetic resin is fitted to the lower-end part. This joint piece 4 has the projection part 4c fitted in the hole 1c or 2c. Then, the joint piece 4 and tube material 1 or 2 are inhibited from rotating.
