<p>Spent lubricating oils are processed by freeing the oils from water and sediment of fractions boiling up to abt. 350 degrees C, and treating the oils in a 1st stage to a propane extraction at above 80 degrees C and at 35-42 atms. at a propane/oils ratio of 4:1 to 10:1 to remove main part of the chemical impurities, and in a 2nd stage at 50-300 atms., pref.80-150 atms., and at 290 degrees-370 degrees C, pref. 320 degrees-350 degrees C, in presence of a catalyst of metals of 6th-8th sub-gp. in form of oxides or sulphides. in pure form or on a surface-active carrier, with H2 in ratio of 300 to 1000 : 1 Nm3/m3, at a catalyst charge of 0.5-2.0 v/vh.</p> |
