Tibial plateau comprised of a support base with bearing block for a knee prosthesis. The object of the invention relates to the technical field of medical sciences. According to the invention, the base (1) has, in combination, a horizontal part (1a) and a vertical part (1b), said horizontal part having an asymmetric curved profile (1a) which is designed to cooperate closely with the corresponding profile of the compartment, said curved profile being connected to a rectilinear edge wherein is set, in a square manner, the vertical part (1b) conformed to protect the massif of the tibial spines and to act as an angular stop for the block (2), of which the shapes and size correspond to those of the base (1).
