PURPOSE:To enable cores to set at the predetermined position of the molding surface of a mold by a structure wherein a groove is formed on the molding surface of a movable mold and, in addition, an intermediate mold is provided so as to freely advance to and retreat from said groove in order to house the tips of the fingers of a core loader in the groove. CONSTITUTION:First, after a movable mold 3 is parted from a fixed mold, an intermediate mold 6 is retreated in the groove 5 of the movable mold 3 by contracting rods 7a and 8a through the actuation of air cylinders 7 and 8. Secondly, a core W, which is held by the holding members 11 of a core loader 9, is advanced above the projecting surface of the molding surface 3b of the movable mold 3 and then lowered towards the movable mold 3. In that case, the tips of the holding members 11 are housed in the groove 5 part, which is produced by the retreated intermediate mold 6 arranged on the molding surface 3b side of the opposing movable mold 3. Consequently, the abutting of the tip of the holding member 11 against the molding surface 3b of the movable mold 3 is avoided and the core W is set at the predetermined position of the molding surface 3b of the movable mold 3. |
