PURPOSE:To simplify the input procedure when a three-dimensional shape is generated from a two-dimensional wire frame graphic form by performing three-dimensional conversion processing by an arithmetic unit and generating data on the three-dimensional shape in a data base. CONSTITUTION:Commands and parameters are inputted through a graphic display device 6 and input means 8 such as a stylus and the arithmetic units 5 is put in operation; and a two-dimensional wire frame graphic form definition part 13 generates two-dimensional wire frame graphic form data, which is inputted to the data base 2. Two-dimensional wire frame graphic form data read out of the data base 2 is used and the means 8 and device 5 are operated to generate a two-dimensional or three-dimensional shape by a two-dimensional surface and line model generation processing part 9, a three-dimensional model generation processing part 10, a three-dimensional surface model generation processing part 11, and a closed curved surface solid body model generation processing part 12. The obtained three-dimensional body shape data is inputted to a data base 3 and two-dimensional shape data is inputted to a data base 4. |
