PURPOSE:To reduce an eyesight load and to improve the efficiency of documentation by utilizing hearing ability by voicing words one by one and making the pattern of voice different between a KANJI (Chinese character) part and a KANA (Japanese syllabary) part. CONSTITUTION:When there is an input from a keyboard 10, a character string code signal, converted signal, or unconverted signal is decided. When the character string code signal is inputted, it is transferred as an address to a word memory 18 and to an image memory 14 for image generation. When a conversion key is operated after the character string code is inputted, a computer 12 transfer a KANJI-KANA mixed word to a document memory 20 and the image emmory 14 with the converted signal, so that the word is displayed. On the other hand, voice data is transferred from the word memory 18 to a temporary voice memory 22, and the KANJI part of the serial voice data is outputted from a right speaker 30A and the KANA part is re produced from a left speaker 30B.
