<p>Grinding discs based on abrasives such as silicon carbide or corundum, with fillers, binders and a gluing resin from phenol-formaldehyde resin condensed with Ba(OH)2, and after condensation the pH adjusted to 7-7.5 with dilute H2SO4, so that 15-25 (esp. 18-22)% of the total resin is colloidally dispersed BaSO4. Discs with improved bending strength, bursting value, rigidity and water stability are produced.</p> |
