PURPOSE:Norcadia sp-S-255 is inoculated to a solution containing tetra alkylammonium salt and/or amines bearing methyl groups to easily and inexpen sively remove a mines by decomposing them. CONSTITUTION:A poisonous solution containing tetraalkylammonium salt (tetra methylammonium hydroxide) and/or amines bearing methyl grips (trimethyl amine), e.g., development waste solution in IC production process is recovered. The solution is combined with a nitrogen source such as pepton, yeast essence, inorganic salts and buffer solution which are needed in cultivation of microorganisms to prepare a culture medium. Then, the resultant medium is inoculated with Nocardia sp-S-255 (FERM-8471) or its mutant and cultivation is effected to remove or detoxicate the solution by decomposition of the tetraalkylammonium salt and/or methyl-bearing amines. |
