The invention relates to a counter-flow swimming system incorporated in a compact block for self-contained operation. In a compact block 1, a pump 9 is mounted in parallel with a water circulation pump 4, so as to deliver independently into a duct 12 opening out into a venturi tube 16 located on the front wall 13 of the compact block 1.
