Device for transferring an object 10 towards a processing station 4 in a controlled atmosphere, of the type consisting of: - a sealed receptacle 5, closed by a stopper 8, intended to receive the object to be processed 10; - a treatment enclosure 1, closed by a door 2, intended to interact with the stopper 8 of the receptacle 5; characterised in that the receptacle 5 comprises a mobile plate 8 intended to receive the object to be processed 10, consisting of: - a plate 8 proper forming a stopper of the receptacle 5; - a handling spindle 6 connected to the plate 8; and, in that the door of the enclosure 1 has means 13, 16 capable of securely fastening it, temporarily, to the stopper 8 when the latter comes into contact with this door 2, so that this door 2 is removable under the effect of a thrust exerted on the handling spindle 6 when the stopper 8 is in contact with the door 2. Envisaged application: the chemical treatment of components away from dust. <IMAGE>
