Apparatus for packing pasty products in the form of cakes (galettes) especially for forming beefburgers, constituted by a fixed plate 1 forming the bottom and two lateral walls of the housing 21. The two other walls are composed of two movable and independent slides 5-6. The housing is closed by a plate 20 which moves in slide rails 3-4 to allow the bulk product to leave. A trigger 9 securely fastened to the slide 6 allows the housing 21 to be filled and for the filling to stop when it is full. The selector 13 acting on the slide 5 via a stop 15 makes it possible to select various weights and volumes. The inclination of the apparatus, as well as the biggest spread of the two slides in the external position, makes it possible for the formed product to leave, by gravity. <IMAGE>
