PURPOSE:To increase a printing speed, by providing a means clearing each printing data in a printing buffer each time said printing data is printed and a means performing the stop control of printing operation when all of the printing data of the printing buffer were cleared. CONSTITUTION:A pulse disc 37 having magnets 35, 36 mounted thereto is fixed to the gear 34 meshed with the gear 33 of a printing drum 21 and two character pulse signals CP are generated by a character pulse sensor 18 each time the type body of the printing drum 21 passes in front of a hammer 22. If '4' of printing data coincides with '4' of a character counter when the character pulses CP are generated, for example, '4' is printed. Data '4' after the finish of printing is cleared by a character pulse and, when the final printing data is printed, all of the printing data of a printing buffer are cleared and printing is finished while CPU11 stands ready to receive the next printing data to quickly finish printing operation. |
