The invention relates to frames supporting correcting lenses enabling vision to be improved or the eyes to be protected. It essentially comprises a ring 1 supporting at each end the optical parts 2 and 3. Among users most interested by these frames, mention may be made of people who, unable to wear contact lenses, have to perform physical activities requiring an excellent retention of the frame, as well as individuals who, unable to wear contact lenses, are inconvenienced by defects in conventional frames which are sometimes the origin of migraines, neuralgia or irritations. <IMAGE>
