Process and material based on wood granules and resin for making prefabricated elements. The invention relates to a new material based on wood granules and polyurethane resin, noteworthy because as the polymerisation is carried out using the moisture of the wood granules, in 12 hours, without specific conditions of hygrometry, temperature or pressure, making it possible to obtain by moulding prefabricated elements, comprising the outer and inner surfacings, of any shape and of large dimensions, < 15 m<2>. Into a mould 1 comprising an elastomer relief 2, reinforced (equipped) with a PVC grid 3, is sprayed a coating or a slate sand mortar or another material 4 with 5 % of resin, then a PVC distribution grid 5 is spread, subsequently the wood granule mortar is sprayed with, if necessary, up to 30 % of insulating material granules, together with 15 % of polyurethane resin 6, over which is unfolded a grid layer 7, receiving another finishing layer 8 of wood aggregate, idem 6. To finish, the lid 9 is laid, on which is tensioned the inner surfacing 10, melamine paper or other wall surfacing. The material and the manufacturing process are intended more particularly for the building and furniture trades and for the naval construction industry. <IMAGE>
