PURPOSE:To enable a condition of lack of oxygen to be detected by one burner by a method wherein one burner can be changed over from its burner by a method wherein one burner can be changed over from its full primary combustion to its Bunsen type combustion. CONSTITUTION:Indoor air is sucked through a suction port 7, heated by a burner 3 and then blown out through a blowing port 8. A thermocouple 9 acting as a sensor for detecting a lack of oxygen is placed adjacent to a combustion surface of the burner 3, and at the same time a solenoid safety valve 11 opened or closed in response to an output from the thermocouple 9 and a governor 12 are arranged in a gas supplying passage 10. The thermocouple 9 is made such that when the burner 3 shows a Bunsen type combustion to indicate a lack of oxygen, its flame is lifted up to decrease its output. When the condition is set 'strong', both solenoid opening or closing valves 13a and 13b are opened to cause gas to be injected from both nozzles 14a and 14b to allow burner 3 to show a Bunsen type combustion. In turn when the condition is set at its 'weak' state, only the solenoid opening or closing valve 13b is opened to cause gas to be injected only through a nozzle 14b to allow the burner 3 to perform a full primary combustion. |
