PURPOSE:To attain the titled device circuit suitable for circuit integration and to attain miniaturization by using the 1st and 2nd sampling clocks having the same frequency but different phases so as to sample and hold a signal outputted from an image pickup element being a color signal subject to frequency multiplex at a specific frequency, subtracting the output signal and giving the result to a delay circuit and an adder/subtractor circuit. CONSTITUTION:When sample holding circuits 11, 12 are operated and the n-th scanning line is scanned, an (R+B) signal is outputted from a subtraction circuit 14 and an (R-B) signal is outputted from a delay circuit 4. The output of an adder circuit 5 is (R+B)+(R-B)=2R and a red signal is obtained. Further, an output of a subtraction circuit 6 is (R+B)-(R-B)=2B, from which a blue signal is obtained by using a control pulse from a pulse generating circuit 13 so as to conduct terminals 16a, 16c of a switch circuit 16 at the n-th scanning.
