The invention relates to a door hinge (1) for a motor-vehicle door, with two hinge parts movable relative to one another. According to the invention, at least one hinge part (bracket 2 located on the body) contains an insertion orifice (slots 14, 15) which extends approximately horizontally in the state of use and into which a counterpiece (threaded pin 7, 8) can be inserted, so that a motor-vehicle door can be mounted from the side without being lifted.
