SIMPLE MAGNETIC POWDER FLAW DETECTION APPARATUS

PURPOSE:To enhance working efficiency by enabling single hand operation and to also enable marking, by providing exciting coils to both leg parts of a U- shaped iron core and arranging a black light for irradiating the magnetic flux range of a material to be inspected and a magnetic powder solution nozzle in a related state. CONSTITUTION:Exciting coils 3, 3 are wound around both legs of a U-shaped iron core 1 and a black light 4 for irradiating the magnetic flux range (oblique line part) generated to a material 6 to be inspected by the iron core 1 and both exciting coils 3, 3 and a magnetic powder solution nozzle 7 are arranged to the central main part 5 of the iron core 1. Various operation buttons 9 are provided to the grasping part of a grasping rod 8 attached to the upper surface of the central main part 5 and the magnetization of the iron core 1, the irradiation of the black light and the sprinkling of the magnetic powder solution can be performed by a single hand. The magnetic flaw detection apparatus is hung through a hanging ring 10 and a balancer 11 and can be moved by a single hand.
