MAGNETIC FIELD GENERATING APPARATUS

摘要

PURPOSE:To obtain high uniformity of magnetic field by providing a means for independently adjusting the positions of respective blocks in two directions which aare almost at the right angle respectively to the axial center of an annular arrangement and are almost at the right angle to each other. CONSTITUTION:The magnet blocks 11-18 are respectively formed like the trapezoidal column and these are sequentially arranged adjacently, forming a ring 11 as a whole. A moving means is provided for each magnet block in the X and Y directions and moreover at least one of the X-axis rotating means and Y-axis rotating means is provided as required so that each magnet block can be moved and rotated mechanically. Thereby, ununiformity of magnetic field can be reduced remarkably.
