For aligning a track grid in railway track installations, the track grid is aligned and held laterally by means of aligning and holding devices, while is rests on height-adjustment spindles. Subsequently, the sleepers are concreted in. After partial hardening of the concrete, the aligning and holding devices are removed. In order to reduce the necessary aligning forces and to keep the track grid and the height-adjustment spindles free from internal stresses, the track grid is set in vibration during the aligning process.
