PURPOSE:A cosmetic having improved luster and stability, no skin irritation, good spread on the skin and a fine feeling in use, obtained by using effectively wax contained in a fat and oil component prepared from sesame seeds as an oily component. CONSTITUTION:Sesame wax is effectively utilized by blending a cosmetic with the sesame wax which is wax contained in a fat and oil component prepared from sesame seeds and was not hitherto effectively used, as part or the whole of an oily component such as carnauba wax, candelilla wax, whale wax, montan wax, etc., which was added to an existing cosmetic. The sesame wax has more improved luster than the existing oily component, stability to oxidation good color and smell, no skin irritation, and a cosmetic using the sesame wax has improved spread on the skin and an improved feeling in use. Further, since the sesame wax has 28C saturated aliphatic dibasic acid as a main component, it has a high melting point and improves heat-resistant stability of stick cosmetic. |
