The invention relates to a high-pressure flap 2 for room ventilation installations. It consists of a frame 3, on which a flap sheet 5 is mounted pivotably, which flap sheet in the open position bears against a limit switch 6 and in the closed position is sealed in an airtight manner against the frame 3. The flap sheet 5 is loaded with an adjustable deadweight 7. The deadweight 7 is arranged on a bar 19, displaceably coaxially therewith and positionally modifiable in relation to the flap sheet 5. The flap sheet 5 is mounted movably by means of articulations 9 on pivot arms 10 which are pivotable by means of a pivot mounted horizontally in the frame 3. The flap sheet 5 is connected to the pivot arms 10 by means of elastic buffers 31 Fig. 2a). <IMAGE>
