A description is given of an active spring and damper bearing between one oscillating and one fixed body, especially between an internal combustion engine and the frame of a motor vehicle, having a pressure chamber which is filled with a compressible fluid, can be connected to a pressure source or to the open air as a function of the position of the oscillating body and is delimited by a supporting arm of the oscillating body, a part of the fixed body and an elastic wall connecting these to one another. In order to increase the responsiveness and response accuracy of the bearing and to relieve the elastic wall of the task of transmitting the force between the fluid and the oscillating body, a second pressure chamber of identical construction to the first pressure chamber is arranged on that side of the supporting arm lying opposite the first pressure chamber, and the supporting arm forms the entire parting surface between the two pressure chambers.
