Device for influencing an amount of fuel for an internal combustion engine which has two groups of cylinders and has a mixture control unit in the intake system, which unit comprises a fuel distributor with a control pressure regulator. The control pressure regulator, which can be influenced by a control unit, is arranged in a fuel line, which connects the bottom chambers of the differential pressure valves of the fuel distributor to a fuel return. The control unit is connected to the lambda probe assigned to the group of cylinders. In order to be able, in a simple manner, to adjust the flow of fuel for idling operation of each group of cylinders separately, the fuel distributor has one control pressure regulator per group of cylinders. A bypass line with an adjustable throttle, by means of which the cycle ratio of the control pressure regulator can be influenced, is assigned to at least one of the control pressure regulators.
