PURPOSE:To obtain a practical room heater with safety and inexpensive cost by providing flexibility in a heat accumulation mat by the bendability of a flexible material of the coupling portion for coupling between vessels, thereby eliminating the different feeling on a human body. CONSTITUTION:A room heater 5 has a heat accumulation mat 7 and a heater 8. The mat 7 is formed by sealing latent heat accumulating material 10 made of flexible film such as polyethylene or flexible metal laminated film 9 with hydrated salt such as sodium carbonate 10 saline water or organic material. Vessels 11 are arranged laterally and longitudinally in a matrix shape, coupled with flexible materials between the vessels in such a manner that the coupling portions 12 are bonded or heatsealed. Further, the heater 8 made of panel heater or heating wires is provided on the surface of the vessels 11 along the coupling portions 12. |
