Toner for electrophotographic copying or electrostatic printing has (1) internally pigmented thermoplastic main particles prepd. by suspension polymerisation, mean dia. 2-25 microns, whose surface is covered by (2) a fine-grained thermoplastic polymerisable prepd. by emulsion or microssupension polymerisation, mean dia. 0.05-33% pref. 0.2-15% of mean dia. of main particles. 10-91% esp. 30-80%, of the surface of the main particles is covered by polymerizate. Methods of toner prepn. are also claimed. |
