PURPOSE:To enable a withstand voltage test for each phase, by earthing two phases of cable lines except for that for a test voltage to be applied to with an earthing body operable from outside a case wrapping an equipment direction connection part. CONSTITUTION:For example, a cable line 1S of S phase for a test voltage to be applied is left open while other two phases of cable lines 1R and 1T are both earthed at one end side 2 thereof with an earthing body 4. Then, first, a handle 10 of the earthing body 4 is turned to make the line 1S open on one end side 2 thereof while other two phases of cable lines 1R and 1T are earthed on one end side thereof. Then, in the equipment case 12 on the other end side 3 of the cable line, a power imposing section 13 is mounted at one end thereof and a bushing 14 of a power imposing lead 15 at the other end as airtight as the tip 16 of a conductor leading rod is positioned in the case 1 and then a specified test voltage is applied to the power imposing section 13. Then, after the end of the withstand voltage test of the line 1S, likewise, the handle 10 is turned by 120 deg. and a specified test voltage is applied to other end side 3 of the cable line 1T and 1R to perform a voltage withstand test for each phase.
