The invention relates to an axle suspension for motor vehicles, which comprises two longitudinal control arms, pivoted so that they can swivel on the vehicle body and carrying the vehicle wheels, and a flexurally rigid but torsionally soft cross strut, the ends of which are connected, angularly rigid, to the two longitudinal control arms.
