A device for the remotely controlled guidance of armoured combat vehicles, in which a command vehicle accommodating the crew is allocated an unmanned armoured combat vehicle in which the main weapon together with the targeting and aiming apparatuses are arranged and which accommodates the ammunition supply. The command vehicle and armoured combat vehicle are coupled to one another via a directional radio link so that the armoured combat vehicle can be guided by the preceding command vehicle. To this end, the respective movement-guidance data are recorded in the command vehicle and are transmitted via the directional radio link to the armoured combat vehicle, where they are stored. The speed of the armoured combat vehicle and its distance from the command vehicle are continuously measured, and the stored movement-guidance data are supplied to the movement-guidance system of the armoured combat vehicle, as a function of said measurements, at that instant at which it passes the point at which the movement-guidance data have been recorded by the command vehicle. For remote control of the fire-control system, the image from the targeting apparatus is transmitted over the directional radio link to a monitor in the command vehicle. In the same way, aiming and firing commands are transmitted via the directional radio link to the fire-control system in the armoured combat vehicle.
