PURPOSE:To enable the automation and labor saving in the detection of water leakage, by operating a means for informing water leakage on the basis of output from an operational control part which performs the judgement of water leakage on the basis of the signal from a timing means and a water consump tion signal. CONSTITUTION:When a monitoring order generating part 1 is operated and a timer 6 sends out output after a predetermined time, an operational control part 7 enters an operation mode. When water leakage is generating, a water meter 8 is operated to generate a pulse corresponding to the water consumption This signal is supplied to a counter 7b through an AND gate 7a gated by the 'H' signal from the timer 6 and counted. When the counter 7b counts a predeter mined number of pulses, for example, two pulses, output 'H' is sent out from the counter 7b to allow FF9 to carry out setting operation and the Q-output of FF9 is brought to 'H'. By this mechanism, a lamp 10 lights and an alarm 12 emits sound to allow a manager to know the generation of water leakage.
