PURPOSE:To obtain smooth starting and to withstand large thrust force by making starting torque smaller by changing the number of flexible wheels acting on a thrust member with the transfer of the thrust member in the axial direction. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of wheels 1, 1' disposed in the circumferential direction are securedby point welding 6 to by point welding 6 wheel securing faces 5, 5' having different inclinations in the radial direction on a bearing member 4, and supported by wheel supporting members 2 having elasticity and stored in storing grooves provided on the bearing member 4. The inclination of the wheel securing face 5 is made larger than that of the wheel securing face 5', and the height of the wheel 1 from a bearing member face 8 of a free end 7 is made higher than that of the wheel 5' from the bearing member face 8 of a free end 9. By this, when thrust force is small at the time of starting of a rotor and in the range of low rotating speed, thrust force is supported only by the wheel 1 and when the rotating speed of the rotor is increased, the thrust force is supported also by the wheel 1'. |
