PURPOSE:To improve considerably the field work by inserting and optical fiber connector from a fitting groove of a shell body to store it in each storage chamber and interposing a spring between a partitioning wall of the shell body and the collar part of a ferrule. CONSTITUTION:An optical fiber core where an optical fiber is exposed by a prescribed length is inserted from the terminal of a collet chuck 15 of an optical fiber connector 9, and the front end face of the optical fiber is exposed in the front end of a ferrule 10 provided with a spring 14 which is detained by a collar part 13 provided on the outside peripheral surface, and the inserted optical fiber core is caught and fixing by the collet chuck 15 and the optical fiber connector 9 is attached to the terminal part of the optical fiber core. The connector 9 is inserted from fitting grooves 6-8 provided on one side wall face, and the ferrule 10 and the collet chuck 15 of the optical fiber connector 9 are inserted to and stored in storage chambers 2 and 3 of a shell body 1.
